Welcome to MediLens ("the App," "we," or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

All content is for informational purposes only. Users must always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

You represent and warrant that you meet the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, have full legal capacity, and own or are authorized to upload the content you provide.

You agree not to upload false, misleading, or unlawful content; not to use the App for illegal purposes; and not to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the App. You are solely responsible for all consequences arising from your use of the App.

You retain ownership of all medical images you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and analyze such data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We commit NOT to use your personal health data to train public general AI models without your explicit consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding accuracy or availability. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

• User Content: Medical images and extracted data uploaded by you.
• Device Data: Device model, OS version, and crash logs (for stability).

We do NOT intentionally collect irrelevant sensitive personal information.

Transparency on AI: To provide image recognition services, we transmit your encrypted images to trusted third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud). These providers are bound by strict data privacy agreements and are prohibited from using your data to train their models.
